Zero-Sale Policy: We NEVER sell or trade your personal or business data to third-party marketing firms. Your data is only shared with authorized partners essential for completing transactions.

03. Purpose of Data Processing

Under the DPDP Act 2023, we process your data for the following specific purposes:

Seller Operations

  • Identity Verification: To verify your legal identity and business authenticity
  • Payouts & Settlements: To transfer sales earnings to your verified bank account
  • Consumer Trust: To display shop details (Name & Location) as required by E-Commerce Rules 2020

  • Order Processing: Name, email, delivery address & contact number
  • Payment Security: No credit/debit card details stored; PCI-DSS compliant gateways
  • Anonymity: Browse without identity until purchase

We retain your data as long as your account is active on the platform.

Statutory Requirements

Following account deletion, certain records (Tax Invoices, KYC) are retained for up to 8 years to comply with Indian Tax (GST) and Audit laws.

Right to Access & Correction

You can view and update your information anytime via the Seller Dashboard or Customer Account settings.

Right to Erasure

You can request deletion of your data. Upon request, we will delete your data except what is legally required to retain.

Grievance Redressal

If you have any privacy concerns, you can contact our Grievance Officer as per the IT Act guidelines.

08. Children's Privacy

Section 9, DPDP Act 2023

  • Age Restriction: E-Mall World is intended for users who are 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
  • Safe Guarding: If it is discovered that a minor has provided personal information without parental consent, we will delete such data immediately upon notification.
  • Zero-Targeting: We do not engage in tracking, behavioral monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.
  • Parental Rights: Parents/guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal data should contact us immediately at legal@emallworld.com.
